Objective no. 1:

The capacities of 250 Panchayat level federatios (PLFs) are strengthened so that they are able to effectively help Adivasi and Dalits, as well as other disadvantaged population groups to gain direct access to necessary services.

Indicators:

1. Through the active intervention of about 250 PLFs at least 18,000 households have gained direct access to ten government schemes(baseline value:7,678 households).
2. Women in 230 Panchayats have implemented initiatives to tackle local challenges, e.g., education, nutrition,sanitation (baseline value:115 PLFs).

Objective no. 2:

Functioning federations evolve community-based organisations, which strengthens their independence and sustainability.

Indicators:

1. Thirty cooperatives, organised in cluster and involving 3,000 women, have been formed.
2. Sixty Women Panchayat mandis (producer organisations) have been established.
