I, as the Secretary cum Treasurer of Raipur Diocesan Social Welfare Society, am pleased to place before you the Annual report of the society for the year 2023-24.1 feel proud to state that RDSWS has been very instrumental in upliftment of the women, children and the marginalized group of the society. Thousands of women, children and men have been able to build their lives through the animation of RDSWS. It could be possible only with the abundant blessings of almighty God and constant support and encouragement from the president, vice-president and the governing body members, the dedicated commitment of the staff both at the centre and the field. They have given their full contribution in all the best possible ways. I acknowledge that the project funding agencies are the pillars that have made things possible and I am obliged to express my gratitude to all those who have contributed to the success of the organization in their own various capacities.
I would like to restate the strides that our organization has taken to march forward in its noble mission of serving the poor and the marginalized. This annual report is an account of the participative collaboration in bringing changes in the lives of the community, especially women and children, and the efforts of committed staff and volunteers who have been instruments in achieving this desired goals.
As I look back on the past years, I feel so proud of what the RDSWS has been able to accomplish, creating a stronger community in different parts of our archdiocese and even across Chhattisgarh State. It has supported and animated women and the children in securing their future. RDSWS makes them to create economic opportunities for individuals with limited resources but unlimited potentials.
I feel so proud to be serving as the secretary cum treasurer of Raipur Diocesan Social Welfare Society, and excited about the opportunities this institution unfolds to work with such dedicated, creative, and passionate staff both at RDSWS Office in the centre and in the field where the efforts are materialized.
I am grateful to our Governing Body Members of RDSWS. I thank specially to our Archbishop Victor Henry, the president of the society, who has been supportive and thoughtful to the organization and the mission of the Archdiocese of Raipur. I thank the Almighty God for His abundant blessings. We are ever grateful to our board members and constant blessings and support of the vice-president Rev. Fr. Sebastian Poomattam V.G. for his ever availability and guidance. I express my gratitude to all the staff, volunteers and the community for all their supports and good wishes for the organization.
